First Time Rock Climbing, wish me luck >.<

Blaze took a deep break. Her I pod's head-phones where plugged into her ears as she grabbed onto the first rock. Then leaping to the second, she quickly grabbed onto the 3rd to swing off of it, her left hand grabbing onto the crack in the wall as lava sprayed out of the 3rd rock. She carefully slid away from the lava rock, her blue eyes scanned every rock for any lava, or red heat... She heard a loud clash as she looked up, 2 boulders where headed straight at her. She quickly leaped onto the opposite wall, pressing her body to it as the boulders rolled down the wall. Then she felt the wall heating up, she quickly leapt onto the opposite wall, as she leapt back and forth between walls. She then found herself at the edge of the wall, then 3 unsuspected rocks came crashing down, she fell down the wall, her hands reaching to grab something, and she did. She grabbed onto a small rock as she was about to land. She shook her head, not today, not tomorrow maybe the next day... she let go of the rock and landed on the ground. Her arms ached from trying to climb up. She sat at the edge of the wall examining the cut on her arm, nope nothing to worry about... She looked around hoping nobody saw her clumsy fall.

I took a deep breath. Then, with great agility, I started to climb the wall, easily dodging the boulders and lava.

Watched, Summer was good. she thought her blue eyes watched as she easily dodged the boulders

Everytime I stepped into a shadow made by the wall blocking the sun, I seemed to vanish.

[Ginshi]

Ginshi walked up. Looking at them cluelessly, acting. Piece of cake! She jumped onto the rock climbing wall and leaped to the next, missing lava by yards. She soon was at the top, clapping her hands to get away dust. Yes. She had to do all this on the way over to teh camp so technacly she was cheating. No. She didn't care.

Blaze looked up "Am I the only one who sucks at rock climing?" she asked half annoyed

I smiled down at her. "No."

[Nathaniel Blackwell]

Nate inhaled a little, and headed for the Climbing Wall. The Ares child sprinted up to the first and second gripping rock, the two walls beginning to slowly compress to each other. Nathaniel smirked, starting to grab for the next rock, but hesitated and moved his arm up for the rock above it. Seconds later, the rock he was about to grab onto bursted from it's hole, oozing red hot lava. The smell of charcoal filled his nostrils as some small rocks fell into the lava below him. The Cabin Leader growled inside his throat, starting to pick up the pace. A little over halfway, tumbling rocks started to fall down on his wall, so he looked to the other wall, about four feet away from him. Nate looked for some grips and jumped onto the other wall, quickly scrambling up the wall, the lava starting to rise. He past by Summer Anderson, smirking at her. Then he leaped back onto his original wall, scaling it, avoiding most of the bursting lava-rocks. The walls were closing in, only a foot apart, and he was almost there. In one giant jump, Nate managed to land onto the top of the climbing wall. Only in a matter of minutes the walls would smash anyone still climbing.

I shrugged and moved into a shadow. A second later, I was right next to Nate. "Never underestimate a daughter of Hades."

[Nathaniel Blackwell]

He grinned. "I never do." The Cabin Leader said, starting to head for the Arena. It was always good to practice his fighting skills. Before going to the Arena, he grabbed his copper sword from his cabin.

(I thought some one else was already Ares leader.) I blinked. There was something about his mysteriousness that I liked.

[ ... I don't think there is. Maybe Apollo, but I haven't seen an Ares Leader. ]

(I think you have to post in the 'Campers List!' thread. Check the fourth page. Someone in Ares posted but he's barely active so I think she might change it to you.)

I smiled down at her. "Don't push yourself too hard." And with that, I was gone.
